That money didn't buy a debate. It bought the classroom.
What money buys now: speeches, offices, new rules.
Consultants. More speech codes. Another Israel talk in a classroom Qatar already paid for. That doesn't undo $3.28 billion.
Another speaker doesn't get the classroom back.

Until the early 2000s, professors said this out loud:

Then Qatar's money had an easy time.
Check the data.
The teacher says: check the data. Check my math. Question me. Don't believe everything I say.
